Thanks man, that did it! Turns out that setting the language to NZ english in a windows install includes having the periods in A.M. Who knew? Cheers again, that was driving me nuts!

No one has an idea? How does everyone else not have this issue? As far as I can tell, everything is default.

Unfortunately, setting XP compatability mode just disables the sound control on my remote.

I'm having the same issue: Sound set to "vista" and "wave" in MPconfig. I've tried setting it to "master", with no result. Is there a way to make the volume control in fullscreen MP change the system master instead of just the application volume?

Hey everyone; I've tried a search, and I've looked everywhere obvious for the solution to what seems like a simple problem: How can I either 1) remove the AM/PM 2) Change to 24 hour time or 3) Shift the time readout left a bit in the clock on the home screen (i.e - the one in the top left)...

Does anyone else from Dunedin have a problem with the weather plugin? The forecast data all seems to be fine for the following days, but the "current" weather is always set to 0, and thunderstorms! (see attachment) Any thoughts?

I'm using MP v 1.0.2 running on 32-bit Vista using the EVR renderer and the PowerDVD 8 H.264 codec. Rest of the specs: Athlon X2 4400, 2GB RAM, HVR-2200. Onboard sound. Not sure about the 'x' key - I'll try that out tonight.

Just for everyone to try (and devs to maybe test?) I have an 8500GT, which seems to have issues playing 1080i TV broadcasts (NZ Freeview HD channel 3). Shift + ! elucidates that the video is running between 38-45 fps and is dropping a lot of frames. Playback is juddery. Task manager shows...
