[0.2] Fails to restart TV tuner after returning from suspend (2 Viewers)

I dont know the exact inner workings of MP but I guess in my second experiment I had MyTV running.

What I did was:

1. Start MP
2. Go to MyTV
3. Tune to a scrambled channel
4. Enable Timeshift
5. Exit to home screen and select Hibernate
6. Hibernate and then resume MP
7. Return to MyTV
8. Tune to a scrambled channel (the same as in 3).
9. Blank & Mute TV

The result differed in steps 4 and 9 when I either enabled, or not, Timeshift.

Problem: (Same as described above)
Normally i can watch the scrambled channels i have paid for without problems.
If i ask mediaportal to go into standby( but same things happens when its powerscheduler that initiates standby), and then resume later on however,
i cannot see those channels any more. In that case i need to restart MediaPortal which is very annoying.

What the log shows:
1. i enter My TV and tune a scrambled channel. OK.
2. i leave my tv and ask mp to 'sleep'(from the button on the outermost menu)
3. i resume the HTPC
4. I go to My tv and try to tune the same channel, no go.
5. I tune a free channel, OK.
6. I try to tune the scrambled channel again, no go.

Btw, i know it says in my Sig that i have two tuners with a card splitter but i have also tried with only one card and the smartcard directly in the CAM,
same thing happens.

After installing 0.2.0.3 and updating my graphics drivers i tried again letting the powerscheduler enter standby, same result.

Looking in error.txt i found the errors shown below, similar ones are also in my previous log file. If i look in the main
log file the first error seems to occur right after resuming!

I would also like to add that previous to 0.2 i didnt have this problem everytime i came out of standby. However i did occur sometimes.
There might be more than one bug here, but i think the CAM needs to be reset after standby.

UPDATE: Using hibernate is no different, the problem is exactly the same.

Before standby all scrambled channels work, after resuming *No* scrambled channels work at all unless i restart MP.

I turn off TV in MP before going into standby in all my tests.

Btw, turns out that sometimes it does work when resuming from hibernation(while its 100% failure rate with S3/standby).

A correction to the above, it looks like hibernation works fine(at least by far most of the time), while standby fails with 100% certainty(but remember, teh tuner CAN handle standby, since it works after restarting MP).

I actually dont think so, before 0.2 release i didnt have this problem(or rather it only failed 1 out of 10 times instead of 10/10), so it must have something to do with MP. Since restarting MP(restarting the PC is not necessary) restores functionality completely, its simply a matter of performing whatever initialization of the tuner is done at MP startup time, when resuming from standby.

My guess is that this is an issue with the CAM's since i CAN watch unscrambled channels after standby. However the CAM probably just needs to be reset in order to work correctly again. It cant be that hard adding that to the resume processing in MP?

I dont think its a good idea to ignore this issue, even if its limited to the Twinhan DVB-series, simply because they are alot of people with Twinhan cards out there.
