i rarely even look at the program descriptions.....
they appear too small on my TV to read...

perhaps if i was using a projector, or a big plasma that might be different

Nothing in tv guide after 00:00.
I am norwegian and use the no grabber  . Everything else is working fine. Programs starting after 00:00 (24:00) are not displayed. Has anybody got any idea on how to fix this? :?:

    Im using the 0.1.1 version.

    Hi ting,

I need a little more info:

Is it all channels or just one? Which channels?

Are there no programs after 00:00, ie the next day? If so has the grab stopped after 1 day? (the default is 2 days, you can extend this in the config program - not all grabbers have guides for more then 3 days) Or is there a gap of 1 hour or more for example between 00:00 and 01:00?

Can you check the tvguide.xml file and try to find the programs after midnight. Are they there? Is the data in the tvguide.xml file correct?

If still no idea send me a copy of your tvguide.xml and webepg.xml to the email in the txt file.

    Thanks,

    /James

    Hi all MPers,

Another release of WebEPG beta 0.1.2 is available and can be downloaded from here: http://mypage.bluewin.ch/webepg/

All channels from all grabbers now available in config. Not all channel have a friendly/nice name.

    Grabbers:
    - AU au.tv.yahoo.com added - only VIC metro
    - GR www.in.gr added
    - ES www.elpais.es added - all channels
    - FI www.nyt.fi added - channels still required
    - PT programas.rtp.pt - channels still required
    - IT wfactory.net - channels still required

    Fixed:
    - Many small errors with channel descriptions.

If you want to use a new grabber which doesn't have a complete set of channels yet and want to help out. It is not that hard to add the channels. Requires a little surfing on the web and a bit of copy/paste. I am happy to point anyone in the right direction.

    Cheers,

    /James

    Allen,

Have you tried the config prog. The UK has some 350 channel in there. I'm sure you'll find the ones your looking for.

2 questions for "creating a grabber"

    Hi folks,

I'd like to gratulate James for his great job! WebEPG is really amazing and does its task well!

Since yesterday I'm writing a new grabber for Austria (not Australia...), as some Austrian channels are not supported by now.
www.tvinfo.de is the best site for German (Swiss and Austrian) EPGs, since they really have a lot of channels available, really detailed descriptions and simple written HTML code.

    My fist question now is:
    (edit)
How are sublinks (for detailed descriptions) handled by WebEPG? Does someone have code examples of grabber XMLs with code descriptions (sublinks are not stated in "commented-0.5.xml")?

    My second question:
www.tvinfo.de displays the next days program from 0.00 o'clock to ~5.00 o'clock in the current day view (example: http://www.tvinfo.de/exe.php3?target=senderlist.inc&showSenderID=37)
Does WebEPG "know", those information belong to the nex days program?

Thanks in advance for your support!

    Cheers,
    madmat
