Hi Yabba,

Do you realy have a space infront between Fanart\ and Music or is this a copy past problem? If you have this space then please remove it in the music foldername.

Hi, cul8er ... it must have been a copy/paste typo, I really don't have that space. I've tried reenabling thumbs from MP to see what happened, and what happens is I see the nasty thumbs resized but not the HD backdrops at all. I guess it must be some kind of problem recognizing the file names or something...

Anyway, thanks for your help. I think I'll wait for next version of the skin, maybe it solves the problem, who knows?

he RED text of the currently playing track in the 'Playlist' screen is VERY difficult to read, especially if you have red-green colorblindness

Just to let you know of whats next on my list for next version;
* make option in skin configuration for music playlist (current design and a design lookling like now playing..more fanart oriented)

So that leaves me with one thing on the todo list and that will probably be finished tonight. So the question is...where do we go next? What areas of the skin do you think need my attension? What is missing, what can be better.

Is it possible to incorporate more of the database objects (album/artist info) from MyMusic in the music section?

According to hwahrmann (in this thread: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...plugin-music-part-possible-52421/index11.html) , album info can be displayed next to a list so when you go from one album/artist to the next, this could be displayed simultaneously. A fitting layout for these screens could be something similar to what you've done with MP TV-Series or Moving Pictures.

Too bad the MyMusic can't handle music like MP TV-Series:

Network ->Label
Series - > Artist
Season -> Album
Episode -> Track

Does Mediainfo have anything you can pull into the music section? Or could file extension somehow be used to display a logo for MP3, FLAC etc?

Just some ideas for you to ponder. & :sorry:

This is a very good idea. I can create a plugin that fetches data from MP musicdatabase and provide tags that can be used in the skin. Just need to find a way to do it without making scrollong slow I will look into this for sure. The fanart plugin really opened my eyes for what one can do with a simple plugin. MP databases store alot of nice info that are not allways available in the skins but it is easy enought to create a small plugin that has this feature.

Thanks for a great skin, been using this from its beginning and your development is fantastic

Two little bugs that I see on my system.
1. When going from home to any other screen, a small part of todays weather text is left on the screen until the screen fully transistions to the new screen.
2. When returning to the home screen, it appears that the backgound of "games" and then "movies" very briefly appear, before showing the TV background.

My setup
TV is default home selection (4), games are 5 and movies 3.
I use vertical with RSS and weather always shown
MP v 1.02
This happened on 390 version as well.

hi cul8er & emphatic ! im with you guys ,the music in MP is litle bit not get the MP devloper attanchen so mach ..and many of us thing like that..
if cul8er will do the plugin ,that rally will upgrat MP for evrybody ....
i will look at the prograss closly ... if need any help please ask...

Yes, this is really awesome. So, am I understanding correctly that you will use the database that MediaPortal creates, or will the plugin in itself have an import function? If it's the former, try to make it so that it can be "upgraded" with import filtering etc. like the "big boys" (Moving Pictures and MP TV-Series) does it should it be a big hit with this community.
