Access DVB Data Stream (1 Viewer)

What would be the easiest way for a GUI plugin to access a DVB data stream for the current TV channel based on the stream type ID?

There's really no easy way. You will need to patch tswriter to add your needed PIDs to the timeshift/record file. Look how DVB/teletext subtitles or multiple soundtracks are done.
