As far as i am aware that is not possible without ripping the shows off the disc.

Your two options are leave it in dvd form and select the show after the dvd is launched or rip the dvd into separate files.

i dont mind ripping to the hard drive, any guides on how to do this? by ripping you mean putting it into the VIDEO_TS folders or converting them to MKV?

yes, exactly .... depending on the amount of storage and resolution of your display. TS folders will probably take up the most space, but be true to the dvd recording. name each episode file to include at least the program name, season and episode number in a string that the parser can figure out.

    I have my episodes in a program folder, separated into season folders [ <program name>\Season <season#>\S<season#>E<episode#>.<ext> ],
    some use [ <program name>\Season <season#>\<program name>-S<season#>E<episode#>-<episode name>.<ext> ]

    \TV Shows\Desperate House Wives\Desperate House Wives - Season 2\Desperate House Wives - S02E01 - Episodename.avi

seems to work with most mediacentre software
and if you want to copy a season to an external hdd then it has the show name in the directiry name which is easy for copying / moving files around.

Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...

Hi. I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database". Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...

If you’re planning to submit a pull request, let’s go through the list of issues and their solutions. I or someone from the team will create a Jira ticket, and for each ticket, you’ll make the changes and submit a pull request. This will be transparent and straightforward.
