Another question about the musicOverlay. When a song is playing and you go to the 'menu slide' screen and change something results in not showing the musicoverlay unless you are back in the home screen. From here going to video, tvseries, plugins, whatever.... shows the music overlay but not if you go in the music folder again. Choosing another song doesn't change this.
Is this problem related to the skin?

On the first issue the overlays are hidden when the screens menu is selected, MP not screen function.

Dealing with 2nd part of the question...I will need to check this...I have seen a problem on the MusicOSD screen I did when going to GlobalSearch, the overlay gets turned of completely, I think this may be because the this is a hyperlinked and the associated .xml has overlay set to 'no' and when returning to the original screen this is not reset...will have to test that theory.....

Update: Tested that and this is not the issue...will have to dig deeper....

MyTetris screen

Was bored this evening while waiting for everone to finish so I could restart a server...so tackled the MyTetris screen. Went for a plain black background for the game...only paint on this laptop so limted options...

Playable though...kept me amused for an hr...

Archive contains 2 xml files and a new background for the game....

Can highly recommend Paint.Net, just does it for me

Working on doing a new release shortly, Sambal has already done a list of recent changes, will just update any new and add to that.

So thanks to all the people contributing to this skin, lets make it the No.1 for MediaPortal, BIG STYLE

For thoses that are intrested here is an update to the Music Now playing screen I posted a couple weeks back, not much change some tidy up and added the Fanart' feature.

Thanks Trevor I really like this layout but I have a problem. I'm not able to select a song from the Best Tracks for Tag anymore. Whatever I do with the remote che menu with Playlist, Globalsearch and lyrics pops up.

That is by design, I wanted a screen that was very basic - showing off the backdrop and the info as subtle as possible...its why on the std Playing Now screen there is the MusicOSD option...this screen is more for when just listening and not intereracting....

I know it might not be for everyone...

I have a minor issue - using the RSS feed plugin and Aeon wide skin.
Where the icon for the RSS feed is placed, is a couple of pixle rows too high, and the RSS feed text itsef disappears as it comes along side the mini visualiser in the bottom left corner.
Sorry if this makes no sense - I'm on a different machine here and can't drop a screen dump in!

Fire up basichome.xml with notepad and adjust the icon and the text for your own liking.. Just push ctrl+f to search, type in RSS, and you will find either the icon settings or the feed settings. Just adjust the x and y placements to get them up/down/right/left. Experiment too get it the way you want. Remember to back it up first.

Will go through thread from when Aeon was released, and update any necessary files missed by Sambal to svn, there should not be more than a couple at most, as he sent me quite a comprehensive list before he went on his hols to the sunny Algarve, nice

I'm pretty new to Mediaportal, but i already have fallen deeply in love with it (though i'm still at the beginning and not understanding much).

I just wanted to say that i'm sure that besides me there are lots of people intensely yearning for the new release

The skin is simply amazing...
