Was it asked from the installer ? Only second time you launched manually or also when launched from DeployTool ?

I have the same problem.

which TvServer plugins you use
if your RC2 TvServer installation was a clean install, or an RC2 which was upgraded from RC1 RC2 -> RC3
if your used any test binaries from a forum thread - no
if you use MDAPI - what is this?
if you use and additional external tools (standby handler/etc) - no
if you use any webinterface - no
if you use anything even remotly related to TvServer - mediaportal
your Operatingsystem - win 7 32 bit prof

any suggestions?

I have the same problem.

which TvServer plugins you use

Please specify what you have configured in setuptv.

Looking at your txt list, I can see that all dll are not updated because TvService was active and locked them as itself

@ chemelli: I did only configure power scheduler. No extra plugins are installed. I tried to run the RC3 install again but as others saw before it says everything is installed already and does nothing.

I had the same problem, here my solution:
1.) MediaPortal uninstall (standard, recommended) (no data/config will be lost)
2.) TV Server uninstall (see above)
3.) Reboot
4.) run MP RC3 Setup
5.) Install plugins/skins/etc.

Works!

agree to COM.petence, I just uninstalled the tv-server and reinstalled it + the Tv plugin. It's a working workaround.

It wasn't asked after installing the second time from the package_tvserver, only the first time using the setup.


@elliottmc: :sorry:, don't have any logs, was in hurry yesterday. I will update another PC today, if it happens again, I'll post the logs
