Hi OrionHall!
I've changed Original Title Handling to File Name and Internet Lookup an still receive error importing
ERROR : Error importing Wag The Dog\Wag The Dog.avi : Method not found: 'System.String[] Grabber.Grabber_URLClass.GetDetail(System.String, System.String, System.String, Boolean)'.
Edit
I've reinstalled application and delete the folder, reinstaled and have same problem. Is this media info dll problem or my system or something. Because everything was OK yesterday.

Hiya,

That's a shame! It sounds like you're maybe missing grabber.dll, or that you have an old version. Can you please confirm that you have downloaded the v0.8.0 release from the first thread in this post, and have then added the 0.8.5 executable?

Also, please try analysing one of your files with the Tests tab and see if that works okay.

Thanks,

Orion.

I too am now suffering from this error message...

ERROR : Error importing The Last Samurai\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO : Method not found: 'System.String[] Grabber.Grabber_URLClass.GetDetail(System.String, System.String, System.String, Boolean)'.

Yesterday I updated to RC3 and while I was at it, installed the .Net 3.0SP1 kit. Other than that, there have been no other changes. Even happens with 0.8.4. I stupidly did not backup the version I'd installed... It was about 3 months old.... No idea what version it was... :(

Anyone else suffer from this problem?

Certainly is - the Manual Updates tab does this. Just ensure the fields you want to import are selected on the Database Fields tab first. You can also filter which entries are updated using the Parameters section. Only word of caution is that you should not try to update Media data for offline files (i.e. DVDs etc.). I store my movies on a server so I generally use a parameter of 'Source Like \\myserver\myshare' to filter it.

Hope that helps,

Orion.

Worked a treat.
Cheers.

Oh no - another one :(

Okay, might sound like a broken record here but can you supply a few details? What OS are you running? Did you download the 0.8.0 from SourceForge before adding the 0.8.4 executable?

Thanks,

Orion.

Hi grumpydude, hi OrionHall.
I had same error and after reinstaling win it's gone. By IMHO grumpydude has 0.7.3 version of AMC updater updated directly on 8.5 (by replacing exe file), that was my case , I think.

Upgrading from 0.7.3 to 0.8.x with just the AMCUpdater.exe could cause this kind of problem. The Internet grabber dll changed around that time...

I guess I should update the first post in this thread to make it clear that these dev releases are only for 0.8.0 and above!

Cheers,

Orion.

Hi,

My database contains films with a translated title (in French for me) and other films with only an Original title.
Before I use your tootls I update my AMD Database with AMC scripts. those scripts always fill a field called FormatedTitle, which contains the TranslatedTitle if exists otherwise FormatedTitle will contain the OriginalTitle
Can you add this feature to your tools ?
It will be very helpfull in MyFilms to display a title (translated or not)

Version 0.8.6 is now available on the first post in this thread. This adds support for the Formatted Title field, and corrects a minor bug.

Cheers,

Orion.
