for the moment everythng is fine, here are some things which i found:

-QR-Scan withoutUser Auth doesnt work
-where can i change the starting group of my tv channels?
-sadly the app crashed sometimes (never had that with the old version)

Is there anywhere to download the aMPdroid apk?
Its reporting my device isn't supported and I haven't been able to modify my tablet yet to stop google play blocking items (china tablet)

Well with new code comes new bugs... I'm monitoring the crashes though and will release a bugfix version in 1-2 weeks...

i have 3 main tv groups and as far as i remember i had an option in the old version to choose which group is the starting group .. for the moment i have to change it every time

Might it be possible that aMPdroid doesn't like "Umlaute" in usernames?!
In WebMediaPortal i have no problems with "ü"...

It might be; I don't think anyone ever tested that.
