Analog program scan crashes TV-Server (1 Viewer)

I have the same problem. I installed mediaportal over top of XP SP3. I installed also the dvbfix
The very first time I scanned for channels it zipped through them - not finding anything.
Every other time I tried to scan, it crashed the program. I have InterVideo WinDVR installed on my system like one of the fellow above. Could that be a clue?

Hello, I have the same problem. My card is the Asus My Cinema P7131 Hybrid.

I run XP SP3 as well (which it seems like everyone having this problem is?), so maybe that could be the cause?

Looks like allot of people have this problem i have it to,

and it seems that no one is willing to help us out NICE SUPPORT Mediaportal guys!

MP is a great program, but it seems to have a terrible support though!

Come on guys help us fellow HTPC'rs out, or just be honous to us and tell us its a terrible bug you guys cant write out

I have the same Problem with my Terratec Cinergy HTC USB XS HD and this problem is also topic of many other threads here in this forum. It seems as if the supporters dont care for this problem since a long time now, so I will look around for another mediacenter that works fine with my tv-card...

unfortunately same problem for.... what is strange is that the first time you install mediaportal it work, whitout change the country, as soon as i change country, in my case Italy, i get the crash.....
