Analog program scan crashes TV-Server (1 Viewer)

same problem here:
Asrock ION 330 with Hauppauge WinTV HVR 900.
After reading some message, I tried to install WinTV 7 that is available from the hauppauge website as update for the wintv 6 that comes in the package.
Now tv server don't crashes anymore, but it does scan only TEN analog channels and found only two of them. But these two have no info ad didn't work.

The log, as already said, reports missing encoder:

I hope this will be solved in short time because I build this htpc primarly to recording analog channel

Hi,
I've a hauppauge hvr-900H card and I have the exact same problem - scan for analog channels 1st time -no channels found.
2nd scan and so forth, tv-server config crashes....
Any new about a fix? seems to be alot of people with the same issue...

We fixed all what we had to.

IF the mesasge is "2009-11-15 13.47.48.359375 [10]: Exception :TvLibrary.TvExceptionSWEncoderMissing: No audio compressor filter found" then you already have the answer in it

How come then It still won't scan with latest SVN and I have no errors about missing encoders?

Start with; telling what card you have, and then if you do an analog scan and finish with what error messages you do get in your error.log?

I am on TerraTec Cinergy HTC USB XS HD and latest SVN, got scan/picture/sound to work but not very stable. Seems to be unrelated and is fixed just by a tv-server restart so I am sure I will find the solution myself.
