I have a dedicated TV-server setup with multiple client (Multi-Seat setup). This setup has been running 1.0.0 RC2 till 1.0.0. final without problems. When 1.0.0. was released, I started with a clean setup and this was working very well. When 1.0.1. was released I was eager to upgrade, because I read there were improvements for analog tuners.
My dedicated TV-server runs XP SP3 with 3 XFX NVTV tuners installed (2 single tuner, 1 dual tuner). Tuning was fine with 1.0.0. After upgrade to 1.0.1 all the channels only give me white static. I tried clearing the channels and doing a full rescan, however the problem remains. During the rescan the same channels were found and reported 100% signal level and quality. When I scan through the logs, I can see that the tuners are able to lock onto the channels. I do not see errors about that. Recording a channel also gives static, so I think the problem is definately at the server-side. Playing old recordings from the 1.0.0. release works without problems.
I've tried reverting back to 1.0.0, but unfortunately the issue does not go away. Tried uninstalling everything and cleaning up database and doing fresh install of 1.0.0, still the same.
I'm afraid maybe the DirectX update that was required when installing 1.0.1 screwed things up. Unfortunately there's no way to uninstall DirectX. I do have a backup image from before the upgrade, if everything else fails, I might have to resort to that.
