    @ eagle

    few seconds ago:
just ordered @ conrad the Archos 7 Home Tablet. (smaller with 7" display) - 139 Euro.
think that'll hold longer with a full charged accu.

    @polarie

I also have an Archos 7 HT, but it is not possible for me to install aMPdroid.apk.
For helpful information, I would be very grateful (gerne auch in deutsch).

    spike

My guess is that you need to activate the "Unknown Sources" setting (Menu -> Settings -> Applications). Without this you can only install apps from the android market.

    agree with diebagger -

(had the same no-go problem with my first android installation on my Odys.)

    regards

    it's a Archos 7 HT v1 with Android 1.5.
The tip with "the unknown sources" I would try.

    edit:
Ok, but the "unknown sources" setting does not exist on my
Archos. I think, I need hardly a higher version of Android, right?

Yes you currently need at least version 2.1...

    Hi all

I installed the tv4home service and the gma service, the test pages however all try to open/save a file rather than running the code.

    Ie http://localhost:44321/GmaWebService/MediaAccessService/json/GetSupportedFunctions
Loads the browser and pops up a file download box saying "you have chosen to open GetSupportedFunctions".

Any ideas what im doing wrong? :)

    Thanks

That's excactly what is supposed to happen. It's the way firefox handles these responses, google chrome will directly show the output in the browser.

    Hi,

yes there are only the changelogs from the first post in this thread and the commit comments. Anything in particular you'd like to know?

Help needed -> Tv4Home related question

Is anyone successfully using Tv4Home with a MediaPortal 1.1.3 installation? Unfortunately I have no 1.1.3 setup so I can test it out myself.

    Hello DieBagger,

at first i want to thank you for this great app. It works really fine. I only miss the possibility to play a whole music album on PC. Or, if a song is finished that the next song on the album will be started automatically. But i think you work on that.

    I have one problem:
I cannot open the Video shares. I use MediaPortal 1.1.1 on a Windows XP PC. My video shares are on a second PC with Windows 7 64 bit. The access configuration for the folders with the videos is "Everybody" with full access.
The video folders on the XP PC with mediaportal can be accessed by aMPdroid.
Can anyone you give me an idea what i can try to fix that problem? I think the GmaWebservice should have access rights because everybody has the rights.
