AW: [Android] aMPdroid 0.7 - Android Remote Control

Hello, I have a problem with playing Files locally on my Handy (Samsung Nexus S 2.3.4). I get a mesage that the File will be download, but it don't works. The File is 0 Byte big. The File will not be bigger. I have test it with a Music and a Video File.

And when i will play a File on the PC, there is another problem. It is starting, but I hear only Sound and see no Video. And I can't stop the playing, I must restart Mediaportal.

Yeh I get that to, any file downloaded ends up being 0 bytes in size.

Do you have enough space on your sd card? Or are these files located on a NAS?

On my Samsung Nexus S I have no SD-Card, but the internal memory has enough space. In any case for a music file.

I have enough space on both the SD card and internal memory (see below)

The file is on another computer on my lan, not a NAS box, a Windows XP box. The file I am trying to download is 350mb.

Currently aMPdroid is automatically saving files to the sd card... I will make this configurable in the future...

Edit: valtam: The GmaWebservice has to have access rights to your shares... Change the services user or grant access to the current one...

Could you please briefly explain how to do this, I think I know what you mean but require clarity, thank you.

In the settings page of each windows service you can chose with which user account the service should be started.
There you have to define a user account which has sufficient rights to access your shares.
