What is returned by the testlinks from the wiki (GetSeries, GetVideos,...)?

Sorry that I don't answer faster but I had a crash on my network as my router was dead. Now I have my network set up again with a new router. I do some more tests. If I connect to my HTPC from my Laptop I got a csv- alike File with something like this inside (too big to add it complete)

But if I try to download this csv on my phone I get an error message saying "File type is not supported to download" in German "Herunterladen nicht möglich, Inhalt nicht unterstützt". So it seams my HTPC is set up correct but I mess something on my Android phone, but did not know what. BTW I use the HTPC IP to connect...

The browser just doesn't understand the "file type", that's normal. If you try it in Opera Mobile or Mini it will probably work.

Anyway, have you entered "admin/admin" as user name and password when configuring the HTPC connection in aMPdroid? The UI is a bit confusing and suggests, that it will be automatically used, but you have to enter it manually.

Glad it worked out for you, and as many people seem confused with this I will adjust this for the next version...

Everyone give a big to oxan for his work on streaming with GmaWebservice!!!!

I don't want to spoil too much, but streaming (with on-the-fly transcoding) is coming to your droids...

BTW I desperately missing a "stop" button on aMPdroid. I can start playback of media but can't stop it. I hope you can implement this in next version too. If there's no space for extra button left, I prefer to toggle between play and stop rather than between play and pause...

And I will appreciate the streaming feature a lot, so my thanks are on the way...

Try a long-press on the pause button...

It's not your fault, this feature is very hidden (and no docs yet... ).

Yes, but currently only the original, untranscoded videostream (rtsp) of the tv server and only with an external app (vPlayer).

The framework for streaming media that we implemented now will be used for tv as well though, then live tv will work with an internal player and even with on-the-fly transcoding.
