You only have to install Tv4Home if you want to use the tvserver related features.

I suppose this includes schedule recordings as well and not just LiveTV streaming to the Android device?

2) There is something wrong with the advanced client setup, you'll have to use the same user/password for now

How do i set them up for GMA and TV4home?

Tv4Home doesn't have authentication yet and for GMA you have to edit the config file (see second post).

Thanks, for the help. It works in parts.

I can now choose music to play, but only a single file. When i try to play a folder, nothing's happening.
I still have no connection to the tv service. The last thing not working is downloading of files to my player. It says it downloads and i get an icon in the status bar, that doesn't disappear after clicking on it. Any idea.

The downloads go to the sdcard\aMPdroid folder. After downloading finished you should see a "Play" symbol instead of download. The download section is one of the features that still needs some work (Download manager, click on notifications, etc...).

Ok, this is my fault... You have to install the app VPlayer
as this player is the only one that can handle the tvserver rtsp stream.

I had some issues with the GmaWebService. Problem was that I was using different usernames and passwords for wifiremote and GmaWebService. aMPdroid doesnt seem to save a different password and uses the same for every service.

Thanks for your great (it seems so) plugin. I can establish a connection and use my phone as remote.
Most things don't seem to work though.

1. I can't brows my music, series, movie. All i get is no connection to service.
2. When i try to change login credentials for GMA and TV4home they don't get saved. ampdroid switches back to simple login after saving the credentials.

I have installed the VPlayer but it is the same. The App crashed.

just awesome! works out of the box. unfortunately i couldn't test the tv part since i get error messages on the singleseat machine unable to start the stream... will test this later on my netbook which is able to start the stream... anyway, found some little issues so far:
- in music shares view the desktop.ini is shown... expected only audio files to be listed...
- the track duration in the details view is shown in seconds (as can be seen in your screenshot in first post)
- in tvseriessection the series "24" seems to habe a problem with its name consisting only of numbers cause it isn't shown anywhere the other series' titles would be shown...

one thing that kind of irritated me at first, why is there no function, for example in the music section, with the normal press on an item? or is it only cause of this early stage of the app? i will get used to it using the contextmenu anyway

I just realized i can only browse my shares in music view.When choosing artists, i get no results. When choosing albums, i get 'loading failed, check your connection'. When choosing songs, again, no results.
