[Android] aMPdroid 0.8 - Streaming and more (2 Viewers)

the remote works fine for me, but when i push movie button or TV, it says no connection. it had worked for one day, but now i don't know why i doesn't work .

Have you tried menu > connect remote?

it is connected, the arrows and navigation works fine, it is only movie and TV i can't access, when i push movie it says would you like to send wol, and when i do that it says no connection to service

it is very wierd

i uninstalled my avg virus program and now when i push the movie/TV it says wrong password. i have type admin in both field's

How can i make external access, i have tried to write my external ip in ampdroid, but it can't get any connection?

You have to forward port 4321 to the ip of the tv-server and 8017 to the ip of your mp-client in your router and in aMPdroid change the ip's to your external ip or the dyndns-name, you can also make a vpn-tunnel (described in the aMPdroid Wiki).

Hi Diebagger,

Could you add some extra information on the first post? (if you think it is usefull ofcourse.) I am curious on what devices aMPdriod works.
- What Android versions it should work 2.1/2.2/2.3/3.0/3.1 etc.
- Devices screen resolusions: there are a couple of catagories, phones smaller tabs <7" and full tablets >7" in my opinion. Some words on the looks or how it scales would interest me
Im in doubt in buying the samsung tab 10.1, but a little wondering on the result.

It should work on Android 2.1+, with seeking for streaming only working on 2.3+ (including 3.x)

yes, i have done that, Forward both 4321 and 8017 and change the ip to my external ip in ampdroid. but it just says no connection

Did you try it over 3G or WLAN? External IP doesn't work over WLAN. Other then that it should work.
