[Android] aMPdroid 0.8 - Streaming and more (3 Viewers)

Man, when this works it's absolutely awesome!

Unfortunately, its not working too often for me... After getting a few good hours use the other day it is now very unreliable. The remote works for maybe one or two actions then stops responding, sometimes I can browse a library, but generally it just sits there spinning. Ive checked GMA from another PC when this occurs and it seems fine. I've disabled autoconnet as suggested elsewhere in the forum but no good.

Really hoping someone has some suggestions??

I also am getting the dreaded "no connection to service" error. It's might confusing, i've read all the wikis but i still can't seem to figure it out...i must be having a bad day.

I get this message only for music and movies, the TV part actually works fine (and as i believe they are on the same port then this proves any network issues are ok? both phone and mediaportal are on the same subnet). I've clicked all the links from another pc on the same subnet too (and changed localhost to the ip of mediaportal of course) and all the links work fine.

I'm completely stumped! Are there any logs i can look at? Cheers !

Great looking app. And awesome idea.

I got everything to work as it should (I think). I'm a bit confused about the music though. I can see all my music and start a song on the HTPC and download it to my phone, but I can't seem to play a song in the phone. After reading all over in hopes of finding a feature list somewhere, I just can't find out if I'm supposed to be able to stream music at all!?

If it should work, how can I debug this (my log isn't saying anything is wrong)?
If it's not supposed to work, my question is, why not?

First, thank u for a great app. -

I just bought a galaxy tab 10.1 and it works well exept for the live tv streaming part.
1:/ Using the built in player, nothing happens at all -
2:/ Using vplayer: Stream starts in vplayer and it works. BUT, when pressing back on the galaxy, trying to return to ampdroid, both vplayer and the app crashes.

Any known solution to the above?

Since it's quite popular line of Android products, it would had been really worthwhile if the bugs that amdroid suffers while in those phones were to be resolved.

U got a tab 10.1?
Mine crashes 8/10 times. Really sad cause its a great app and all I want is to watch live tv from the tab -
