    Yow,

i have update all my files (wifiremote,GMAweb-thingy and TVserver stuff). Most of my mediafiles i can now access, with one big exception: if i brows my musicfiles, i can get into the shares/folders, but when i press to select "artist", "albums", or "tracks" it gives an error: error loading, check your connection.

You ones told me to change something in the db-version , stated in the xml-file of MP. Which version has to be in those lines? At the moment it shows MusicDatabaseV12.db3. I use MP 1.1.3.0

Oooh and could u change the long-press for selecting play local, download etc, into one-click and then show the play/download-options? (or should i put this in the request-list?)
For MP 1.1.3 it's most probably MusicDatabaseV11.db3. You can take a look in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\databases, take the one that doesn't have a size of 0KB there. I'll take a look if we can't automatically select the right version in future versions.

I use the arcsoft plugin to play blurays and hd dvds in mediaportal, can I use the this app to play and pause / use the navigation keys while inside this plugin ?
    How about trying?

This fixed my issue! Now to figure out why no album thumbs are loading...

EDIT: Well, killing the app and restarting fixed the issue!

For music, install the latest version of WifiRemote (0.4). Not sure about the recorded tv, can you play it when started in MediaPortal?

    Hi.. Yesterday i installed Ampdroid.

The remote works fine... i just have a few problems with the media.

It takes verry long to load. Sometimes its loading for half an hour and nothing happens. In the video tap i see all my movies. When i go into folders and then video only a few are displayed (in the settings its set to show all).

Besides that i cant see the preview pictures in the video tab. I checked the path in the config file path to the database and the pictures and they are correct... but this is not a big issue atm.

So the biggest problem now is that loading is not working verry well... How can i solve this problem?

Thanks! and its a great app!

nd now one feature request to TV recordings: possibility to select the type of scheduling (single, every week, always from this channel, always from all channels), amount of episodes (default 'all'), and when to delete (default 'until no space left').

Feature requests go here: General forum / aMPdroid . It's next to impossible to keep track of them in the forum.

Everyone having trouble with the connection, try to disable the "Automatic Reconnect" feature. If that doesn't help, post your android logfiles (logcat, search market for tools to extract them from phone).

Automatic reconnect also seems to do the trick for me. Thanks for the quick answer and for a great App. Keep up the good work!

Okay, I have encountered a big issue with aMPdroid. I have hundreds of DVD rips on my HTPC. When I use aMPdroid to play a DVD rip on my HTPC the focus of the remote does not transfer to the DVD menu, but remains with MediaPortal. This means I can no longer control the HTPC with the wifi-remote or aMPdroid and must restart MediaPortal. This does not occur with my logitech remote: focus is transferred to the DVD and back to MP when done with the logitech.

Is this something that can be fixed with aMPdroid? Thanks!

A few urls have changed in the latest version of Gma, we haven't updated them yet... Also we changed the port to 4321 so you don't have different ports for tv4home and gma.

As I said in another thread, IMHO this is not a good idea. If you are running a client-server setup behind a firewall router (i.e. client and server on different machines) it is impossible to programme the firewall to forward the requests to different machines for the respective services. In this case it is necessary to configure GMA to run on 44321 as before (or some other port) and set up separate port forwards. This is not straightforward for inexperienced users, and the changes will have broken what was a working setup for them (as they did for me).

Apart from that, thanks for all the great work by all concerned.
