A few urls have changed in the latest version of Gma, we haven't updated them yet... Also we changed the port to 4321 so you don't have different ports for tv4home and gma.

As I said in another thread, IMHO this is not a good idea. If you are running a client-server setup behind a firewall router (i.e. client and server on different machines) it is impossible to programme the firewall to forward the requests to different machines for the respective services. In this case it is necessary to configure GMA to run on 44321 as before (or some other port) and set up separate port forwards. This is not straightforward for inexperienced users, and the changes will have broken what was a working setup for them (as they did for me).

Apart from that, thanks for all the great work by all concerned.

And also. If you're running a single seat, you can't have two services trying to listen to the same port.

Sure you can, which is why we originally changed it... We realised though that all the dealing with multiple services was complicating stuff too much, so the next big release will only require one service...

That's only a problem on Windows XP. In my eyes people should *really really* consider upgrading to a more modern OS. WindowsXP was released more then 10 years ago and that's already way longer then a normal lifecycle of an OS. People don't use mobile phones from 10 years ago either.

Anyway, like Mike said above, all these problems will be fixed in the next release - which sadly will break all your setups again. I promise though that this is the last time we do that; we're getting sick of the changes ourself too. We also seize the opportunity to make installation a lot less complex: there will be only one setup for each different setup (multiseat server, multiseat client, singleseat), which installs and configures itself (think of handling MusicDatabaseV11 and V12 trouble) and you're ready to go. We're also thinking about some ideas to ease aMPdroid configuration but that's nothing concrete yet.

It takes verry long to load. Sometimes its loading for half an hour and nothing happens. In the video tap i see all my movies. When i go into folders and then video only a few are displayed (in the settings its set to show all).

Try disabling autoreconnect. It has some bugs.

Besides that i cant see the preview pictures in the video tab. I checked the path in the config file path to the database and the pictures and they are correct... but this is not a big issue atm.

I've no idea whether or not this is actually implemented yet.

the remote works fine for me, but when i push movie button or TV, it says no connection. it had worked for one day, but now i don't know why i doesn't work .

Have you tried menu > connect remote?

Ok, so I bought a second DVB-T tuner and mapped my channels to it, yet when I try to play a channel belonging to a different transponder from my phone it says "no available card".

Of course it plays fine the channels which are in the same transponder as the ones playing in my TV, but what's the deal for not being able to use the second card? Is there something special I should do apart from mapping my channels to my second tuner?

BTW the tuner is great and is recognized by MP just fine (I used it on its own for some time)... Also I have Windows 7, single seat MP 1.1.3

That's a problem related to MP and not to aMPdroid. You probably also can't start two simultaneous timeshiftings on different transponders in the TV Server Configuration. Please open a support thread in the MP support forum.

That's possible; I do the same. It's just nothing related to aMPdroid, so you should open a support thread in the MP support forum; because the people who know how to fix it are there

it is connected, the arrows and navigation works fine, it is only movie and TV i can't access, when i push movie it says would you like to send wol, and when i do that it says no connection to service

Hi there,

I keep getting issues with getting Amproid running on my device. Sometimes just the remote works, but cant obtain the movie/video list. And other times movie and TV selecting works, but then the remote does not work. I had Ampdroid succesfully running a few times, but that was just for a few minutes. Then the connection got lost.

I opened the following ports to my local IP address: 4321; 1433; 1434; 3306; 1723; 43; 44321; 8017

When I am opening the test URL: http://localhost:4321/GmaWebService/MediaAccessService/json/GetServiceDescription I get asked for an login and password and after that it opens an GetServiceDescription file.

Am I missing something here?
