I find your plugin very interesting and I am looking forward to see it getting better and better.
However I have some problem browsing different kind of data, both pictures and video. Sometimes the plugin lists the content of a folder and sometimes not. My videos are in .avi format and pictures in .jpg format. Sometimes I can see the files and sometimes it tells me that the folder is empty even though I know it is not.

I have installed your latest update published the 24 of januari.

After a bit more investigation I have found out that the items I can not see contains Swedish characters like å, ä and ö.
Folders containing swedish characters are displayed but the name is cut of when a swedish character apears.

    Hi Erik,

I changed the coding a little bit. You need to reinstall the plugin and the APK. On my side it works except on playing MP3 local with special characters. Video and pictures seems to be OK.

Grab it from the fist post.

I have a question: i donno anything about prgramming, but i wonder if it is possible for me to change to looks the application. I mean: can i replace all the different icons with versions of my own? Kinda low-level skinning? I wish to change the looks (and feel) more to the same as the MP-skin i use (standard Blue wide), by using more of the original MP appearances. (or am i going to fast? :) )

    Hi Thundercats,

yes this is possible. We can do 2 or maybe more skins. Right now the standard size of a button is 128x128. The scaling is done by the device. For example the buttons on the main screen are 80x80 and 60x60. (but still 1:1)

On the remote we have three different sizes : (wxh)

    Android
    100x60 (upper part)
    60x90 (vol)
    60x60 (lower part)

    GFX need to be like
    128x76
    85x128
    128x128

Otherwise the gfx looks a little bit streched.
Also read a little bit about gfx here:

User Interface Guidelines | Android Developers

Send me a PM with your email. I will do a set and send it to you. So you have a sample...
Still oddfella is working on the gfx for this skin, so be aware its not complete right now.

    Hi jeng,

it is working on my test system without any problems even on 1.2.
Best would be start the MP in debug mode and select "Report a bug to a Developer.."

Then try again. After closing the MP post the log file here (should be on the desktop)
