Nope, sorry. That's not possible atm.
Should it be implemented?
If so, please explain why since i only have a single seat setup

You have to install the TvServer. MP itself is not needed

MpTvclient is a good solution for watching tv on my laptop and eee, but it seems to cause server crashes and random BSOD's server end, when Mediaportal is in use on the Server at the same time as the laptop/eee. so at the moment i can only use it when there are no recordings schedued, and when the Server machine is not in use. I have no idea why these crashes happen, but for the moment i will have to think of another solution!
