Ich hatte beim letzten Post den PVRS schon deaktiviert und deinstalliert.

1. Also erfolgt das Wakeup zur Aufnahme bei deinem Plugin nur wenn der PC über die Idle-Funktion automatisch in den Hibernate gefahren ist, ja?
2. Wenn ich per Hand den PC schlafen schicke wacht er nicht von alleine auf?

Genauso ist es (leider). Ich werde noch mal überlegen ob mir dazu noch was Gutes einfällt, aber ich vermute, dass dazu der Code vom PowerScheduler geändert werden muss.

Aber der Ansatz ist doch schon mal gut .

Übrigends sollte man dein Plugin nicht zusammen mit dem PVRS nutzen - da kommt es zu hängern im Live-TV bei Senderwechsel u.ä.
Wäre ja auch doppelt gemoppelt da ja der PVRS ähnliche Funktionen hat. - Die ich aber kaum alle nutze bzw. nutzen kann.

TV Recordings 0.2 channel list is complete

Hi pkaul,
I still use your version 0.2 and would like to update to 0.3, but before I do I would like to resolve a channel list discrepancy and hope you can advise.

TV Recordings 0.2 correctly lists all the channels as listed in MP Configuration/Television/TV Channels/ TVChannels tab. I can successfully record any channel.
However, in MediaPortal itself in My TV, clicking the channel button shows an incomplete list for viewing and that same incomplete list comes up for recording attempts made via My TV.
I think all the lists should be the same?

Goodness knows what your version 0.3 would with TV Scheduler would do, so I have not tried TV Scheduler at this stage either.

One other thing, when updating to 0.3, should 0.3 be uninstalled in some way first?

Just had an idea. Perhaps if you can tell me what file contains the channel list that TV Recordings uses, I can replace the one that MP uses.

TVrecordings problems

Hi, I've just installed the new version of TVrecordings plugin (v.0.3), but it doesn't seem to work...
In the main window, the button "new schedule" doesn't work, I mean when I click on it nothing appears, all the others seem to work perfectly...

Maybe I'm missing the "TVserver client plugin" even though, in configuration, if I disable the TVserver option, the button works but no channels are listed in it????? The test of connection with the TVserver (localhost) is ok...

Any suggestion to make this plugin works......?????
My skin is Monochrome 2.00 with the latest svn of Mediaportal and Mediaportal TVserver

the reason why I have implemented the TV Recordings plugin is that I found the original MyTV too complicated to deal with. Currently I'm not using MyTV so I have no idea what's going on there. Sorry. The channels are stored in a file database/TVDatabaseV21.db3 which is a special database format which can't be edited manually. I think that modifying this file won't help anyway since TV Recordings and MyTV are using the same database/file.

You don't need to uninstall TV Recording 0.2 before installing the new version.

hmm. If the connection is okay (and if the option to choose TVServer is activated) then the TV Server client plugin seems to be installed. Can you sent me the logfile log/MediaPortal.log after you have pressed "new schedule" button? Maybe there is something in it which might be helpful to identify this problem. Which version of MediaPortal and TV Server are you using?

I think the reason for the missing channels when disabling the TV Server is: Your channels are configured for the TV Server but not for the In-Built TV-Engine.

Thanks for your reply, here you can find the Mediaportal.log you asked for...

These are the versions I'm using:

First install with MediaPortal_Setup_1.0_RC1_Refesh.exe
then upgraded without deleting DB with MediaPortal SVN-Snapshot:-05-23-2008 22-51h - Revision:19158
TVrecordings 0.3
Monochrome 2.0

Thanks for your reply, here you can find the Mediaportal.log you asked for...

I think I found a bug in my code. This problems seems to occur, when there are two channels configured having the same display name (e.g. two chhannels named "BBC"). Can you verify this assumption?

I will fix this problem in a few days.
