Anybody use a digital camera and import pics with MP? (1 Viewer)

If so: How do you do it?

I know MCE has a feauture for importing pictures, but MP dosen't (I belive).

Is there a way to copy files (simple filemanagment) in MP (or a plugin)?

you could set up your card reader drive as a share

for example:

c:\....\my pictures
and
e:\ = cardreader

if you check the C... one as standard view my pictures will open with your picture collection. if you enter a cf card,sd-card or whatever you go from standard share up one and can enter e:\.
This way you can easily show new pics directly from the card.

For copying you might look for the my explorer plugin.
But I agree, that it could be more comforable to import new pics via context menu for example.

I am aware of the "Explorer"-plugin, and although it does the trick, I think a "Import-feauture" would benefit many MP-users.

Import
- Pictures
- Music
- Movies
(-playlists, pls ....)

... copying from remote source (ext. HDD, memory card, USB memory etc.)

Config. could be:

Search: H:
Include subfolders? YES: X NO:

Or somthing :? Sorry, I don't know how to program.... so I can't do anything about it....ø just an idea that I belive would be usefull and hope a programmer agrees with me.
