BigGranu is not active at the moment due to personal reasons I think.
There is no plan to port it to MP1. Opposite is the case, bringing more plugins to MP2

Have you tried MultiShortCut Plugin? As I was using MP1 (more than 2 years ago now) I have used MultiShortCut for the same purposes as AppLauncher now in MP2...

Thanks, @Lehmden! I was pleasantly surprised to find that MultiShortcut_V2.5.rar it still works on the newer builds of MP1! Well, that should keep me going until I make my way onto MP2.

applauncher works very well, i start my external PowerDVD with applauncher, however i cannot Switch back to mediaportal via remote Control currently

Is that possible somehow? maybe built-in or just with some eventghost scripts?

The "Green Button" (the MCE home button, not the green teletext button) should bring MP back to front.

What's your hardware, remote and receiver?

With a standard MCE receiver you can in theory receive any keyboard key combinations, including Win + Tab which lets you switch between apps.
The tricky part is to find a remote that can emit that signal. If you are the lucky owner of Microsoft Remote Keyboard then you can teach that key combination to a generic remote. Some Android app might be able to emit that signal too, in which case you can use your phone directly or just teach it to your generic remote.

Trying to install..downloaded Applauncher 1.0.exe and executed. It said it installed but I can't see it in MP2. Have I missed something?
