Any brave ones try the new 7.11 drivers yet? Is the freeze issue still there? (I am stuck at work!)

New version 7.11 do not work either. Did not try with the flipy setting though.

I tried to install 7.11 but it just crashed out - didn't even get as far as installing. Ran the driver installer itself manually, and got an 'error executing external DLL' then a hex code... From what I can tell, it's a pretty common ATI bug.

I'm using ATI cards now for a while and never got a DLL error or something similar during installation.

I just tried 7.11 and can confirm that it does not wirk (w/wo CCC).

I want to buy a Gigabyte motherboard with 690G, the GA-MA69G-S3H.

Someone has this motherboard and can tell me if it has problems with the integrated video card and mediaportal?

I'm planning to use it with the HDMI output but I can also remain with VGA 1366x768, where I can get 1:1 pixel ratio with my samsung LCD TV.

I got the -S2H (mATX). This problem is related to all 690G-based motherboards (perhaps all ATi cards) with newer drivers, so yes; expect bugs.

No, it's just a problem of the onboard GPU chips.

But you managed to make it work with mediaportal? If so what driver version did you use and what disadvantages you have?

Using Catalyst 7.2 it will work smoothly.

The downside is that you might loose some 3D-Mark points or maybe only get 11 FPS instead of 13 FPS in most recent games

Well, I believe that there is more to it, like AVIVO settings and HD-performance - I also believe that there are less feature rich settings in older Cat.-ver.
