Catalyst 7.12 is out! We must give a try with flippy skins once again! I will and then report!

Nothing in release note that makes me believe that this has been fixed. My guess is that it never will be...

I've dumped optimism for realism. If this is fixed in 7.12 I'll seriously consider going back

I tried 7.12 today. No luck. Flipy problem still exists. 50 Hz overscan correction still not resolved. I am unhappy.

No christmas present for the paying customers :-(

btw: i do not experience problems with other DirectX applications (tried 2 games). Maybe the problem is not only by ATi but MP? Maybe MP2 resolves the problem!

no 50hz at 1980 and flipy don't work on 7.12. Looks like another fault report to ATI.

After waiting and waiting and waiting more for new ATI drivers to correct the issue for our 690g I finally gave up and purchased a $69 8500gt........


Best money I've ever spent and I'm a happy camper now...

I went the same route and invested in an Asus Nvidia 8600GT 512MB Silent. Can now use Xface, and have HW decoding of h264 content.

So nice...

I downgraded to 7.2 and it worked fine. What am I missing? What is this underscanning stuff you're talking about?
