Oh no, it has happened again

Dear all who has the "know how"...

I have had a crash and reinstalled everything over again, latest rc3 now offcoz... and there is no way in heXX I`m able to make ATI remote wonder (plus) plugin work wint my remotewonder2... I really struggled for a long time the last time (see earlier in this thread) and now I`m back at square one....

Could you PLEASE make a simple step by step posting on what to do (from the start after MP and remote driver is installed and working), where to put ini`s, dll`s, which things to do first etc? and remember, I am (it seems also to me now) an absolute 100% idiot when it comes to this, since i now for the second time cannot make this work

1.
Does the ati software work at all?
Can you use any of the buttons? Any one . no matter What program.

2. which version of the ati rw did you install? And which plughin ( mine or the other one?)?

3. Don't forget to set up the keys!!! Did you?
4. And don't forget that the plugin has to be set on one of the aux1, auy2, aux3 or aux3 in order to work... AND that the aux button has to be pressed while using rw2 with mediportal.

5. AND ( werry important!!!!) the usb reciever of the rw2 has to be plugged in BEFORE booting up windows xp!!!!
( you have to stop ATIRW.EXE from the task manager and restart the software with the remote plugged in!!!)

6. My plugin works best with the mykeysplugin

It works perfectly in windows and it works i MP, although with no "pause, stop, play etc." functionality... I can program all buttons, exept for the ones mentioned

ehh. no? ? but I cant remember doin' that the last time ? Do I need to tell the software that stop means stop ? and pause means pause ?

This was the reason why I failed the last time, so the first button I pressed after failing to use the plugin this time was AUX1 (and all the other AUX`s, no luck this time)

I think I have installed it, at least I made it show up under process plugins? .. (copied the dll to several directories, thats where I made it show up in the "mediaportal setup - plugins"

Hi!

I have ATI Remote Wonder. Now working the stop, and play, and volume buttons when i run the learn buttons. But the up and down button make the 2 steps up, and down... Why???

I'm with a problem with my ati remote wonder I.

After configuring my remote in MP options now whenever i click a button that mp shares with windows (example, the left arrow), it results in a double click in that button in MP.

Any ideas?
