Thanks I'll try that. For info I'm running Win 7 Ultimate and MePo 1.10 pre at mo.

Any special port forwarding I could set up to make sure my router isn't interfering?

EDIT: So enabling Windows 8.x works (although I actually use Win 7). The Get ID's also correctly returns the bulbs OK now. Will have a play with it now it's working.

If it's all on the same network than it will work without port forwarding, have a Windows 7 VM around so will give it a spin and see if there are any problems with it :)

Does it add an additional port number next to your bridge IP?
Because SSDP bridge discovery should only work on Windows 8 as far as I know so it might be something unrelated, attached a new version below which has changes to the standard bridge discovery and connect.

No? Although I haven't closed and opened it yet.. Just jumped straight in to MePo. Music works OK, but as others have said it still flashes for 10-15 seconds after pressing stop, then the lights go off. When I play back a movie, it takes like 20 seconds for the lights to come on from off, and they don't seem to track the screen as far as I can say and sometimes flash around a bit? Colours are off too.. its almost like it tries to go to a different colour but then in a flash it returns to its previous colour. Will have more time tomorrow to play with it more though!!

Big step forward though getting it working :)

For Music I have a fix in place, need to test it a bit with AtmoLight but should work :)
Might be that the Bulb versions are slower in color transitions, can you test it with Rotate R/G/B color test in AtmoHue (Testing tab) with a 500ms delay there?

The color offsets are weird with the Philips hardware, every model seems to require a different color mapping.
In the Experimental tab we have a few options to change the color offsets (in/decrease color intensity), Blue is always gonna be a bit off but the other primary colors should match alright.

It did complain that it didnt find a bridge with SSDP but it works anyway. Yeah I need to play with it to see. Is it a sliding offset for colours? I noticed the numbers for changing RGB. What would be cool is if it could out put a test screen and you slide around the colour to match the screen for calibration.. I guess peoples TV calibration will further add to the offsets :)

Basically it's a point on a chart and the higher you go the further that color will increase.
    Here's how Philips describes it:

Would be cool but only problem is we can't display the actual color as we don't know how the light will render it, will need to think about it as it should be possible somehow :)

Could you display the reference colour on screen and make the light render it, then allow the user to change the light in realtime with controls in the app then they can save it when happy and save those values to your config? :)

For the user control, Winhue2 has a nice colour wheel setup you might be able to get 'inspiration' from.

That should be easy, can do on key change event on those boxes and send that color directly to the Hue :)
Tried sliders before there but since the changes are so minimal it never quite worked.

Thanks, will take a look at WinHue 2 this weekend and see how they do it as I still have the color wheel on to-do list as well.

New version added to first post:

    Changelog

    14-11-2014 - AtmoHue updated

    AtmoHue 0.0.67

    - Changes to standard bridge discovery and auto connect.
    - Color calibrations (experimental tab) can be set more easily, press 'enter/return' key in any of the custom setting boxes to apply and send the primary color just changed to the Bridge.
    - Basic light id detection from Bridge (experimental tab), will list all found light ids in output log for now.
