New version of AtmoHue released, fixed a few things and now reloads settings upon exiting a settings textbox.

Also you can now use individual light settings, not perfect as the bridge is limited and doesn't seem to want to handle multiple commands concurrently so a small sync issue may occur.
For that reason added an option to toggle this feature on/off.

    Changelog

    15-11-2014 - AtmoHue updated

    AtmoHue 0.0.70

    - Keeps command alive during runtime.
    - Reduced command size to Hue Bridge, only includes color after color command and drops the rest and only updates if it detects a change in the configuration (brightness / saturation etc..).
    - Now allows for individual light settings (can be toggled on/off), it might introduce a slight sync issue between the multiple lights.
Not much can be done about that as it needs to be multiple commands if there are different settings and the Bridge doesn't handle them concurrently.

Also did some testing with the WinHue 2 color correction code and wasn't pleased with the results, colors seemed a bit washed out so put off integrating that for now (maybe once they release 3.0).
Think the colors are already more or less what they should look like at least for the bloom / iris / strips, too bad the Hue Colored Bulbs are so freaking expensive (60 euro a piece seriously...) as I would have gotten one for testing otherwise.

Yeah the bulbs are expensive. I stick them in fittings that allow angling like the blooms, and also in small spherical glass fittings so they emit light in all directions. I think they output more light than a bloom. Not sure about the iris though as that's stronger than the bloom :) Mine at least really don't like livetv though with Winhue so maybe like you say they don't respond as fast so they are a bit of a lost cause.

For info, there is now a working version of WinHue 3 (i just got it running now finally). It can auto retrieve the lights, any groups that have been created and all the scenes that have been created in the Hue app (I'm assuming from the bridge).

@Rick164 thank you for the new build. Since you're also just using 2 blooms i'm wondering what settings do you use? What's your hue send delay, brightness, saturation, color temperature, transition time(ms)?

Gonna get 2 for the living room as mood lights as the local hardware store is selling them with discounts at the moment (thanks Killer8) so will do some more testing but like you said they're most likely not suitable for livetv.

Didn't know the bulbs were brighter as I do notice that the blooms don't go as bright as you would expect, looked at alternatives but for the moment Philips seems to have the best all in one package just wished they improved response times and added the ability to disable some safe guards.

Nice, does it also retrieve the internal scenes from Philips as well (Sunset / Deep sea etc..)?
Think scene retrieval is somewhat broken in Q42 or that has to be done differently so will look into Win Hue 3 next week and use some of their code of course with credits in-line and in-app.
Might adapt to their HueApi approach if it turns out to work better as well :)

@Rick164 thank you for the new build. Since you're also just using 2 blooms i'm wondering what settings do you use? What's your hue send delay, brightness, saturation, color temperature, transition time(ms)?

    Brightness - 250
    Saturation - 100
    Color Temperature - 500
    Transition Time - 250
    Send Delay - 250
AtmoLight Hue config (Minimal color difference) - 0

And for individual led setup the light in front is set to a lower brightness (75) to make it less distracting, working on a new list overview for the leds that allow editing as now you have to delete before making adjustments which isn't ideal to say the least.
Will refresh the documentation once I finish up next week to include some info about the settings as well so that we have it all in one place.

Nice, I've adjused the delay and transition time now:)

What does Minimal color difference in atmoLight exactly do? It's set to default 25 in my setup now..

When AtmoLight sends an image to the Hue handler and calculates the most present color it looks to see if the RGB values differ enough from the previous RGB values.
So 25 means that at least one color value (red green or blue) needs to be off by 25 or more than the previous one.

For instance if you had a mostly green image that would be a tiny bit different it would send that to the bridge and you would have more or less constant color changes which might not look as good (switching back and forth), however with the last few releases it doesn't seem to have that big of an impact anymore :)

Oké cool. So setting to 0 is recommended for the most amazing result? Since the colors can be wrong when setting it to 25 right?

Correct, if you find the color changes to be a bit distracting during average speed scenes you can always switch back :)

Thank you I will give it a try:)[DOUBLEPOST=1416138463][/DOUBLEPOST]One thing I noticed, With daylight I have set atmoLight to not start my hue lights between the start and stop time(doing this based on sunset times would be even greater), however when I reboot my pc it takes quite long even after mediaportal has started before the lights go off. Can this be adjusted to be faster. I'm wondering if atmoHue is starting the lights or atmoLight itself? Incase it's atmoLight it should check the off times before turning on the lights right, that would prevent this behaviour?

The sunset times would be a nice idea to include in AtmoLight, it would need a site with a proper/reliable API where we can get that info but shouldn't be that hard to include :)
Think it's due to the AtmoHue startup after shutdown but will double check.
