If you could install the latest AtmoLight version (1.16.1.12) from the Mediaportal Extension manager to make sure with that one it still doesn't turn off with dark images (16-235 issue) that would be great, that way we know for certain it wasn't somehow AtmoWin settings that were originally causing it attachFull169552

Hi Rick,

i just deinstalled the testversion and installed the latest version from extension manager you recommended.
And it is working with this version to now... i have no clue why!! What i don´t know is if something with the deinstallation went wrong as i did not delete the entries from mediaportal.xml and eventually files that have been still there

Ok - struggeling again with loosing connection - it suddenly started and I'm unable to connet again ...

Hm - also struggeling with the RGB settings - unfortunatly the new sedu v3 doe not have a option for the LED i got to switch th colours so I would need to do it via atmowin - but enen if I set teh colors correctly when using live view it won display thee corresponding ones. Can the swithicng (RGB BGR GBR ... built in to to atmowin by default?

Sadly nothing we can do in AtmoLight. Atleast not that we are aware of. Whenever i have these problems, i reboot and all is good again. I know this isnt a nice and clean solution but thats how it is atm. No AtmoWin dev, no fixes.

Hi pur_berger,

i assume you already tried out the sedu setup tool ?
If not here is where you can find it: http://www.sedu-board.de/downloads/?did=14
I was able to setup my V2 boards this way using the old setup tool for v2

The thing with v3 ist that you have teh settings theer but it will only work with 2801 and 2812b ... for all the other types it wont do anything. And I had choosen to go with APA102

Hm - strange enough - I'm now using Ambibox but when conneting I get

Can you try connecting to AmbiBox via telnet?
Press Win + R, type in "telnet" and press enter, then type in "o 127.0.0.1 3636" and enter. Can you connect or does it fail? If it fails its a problem with AmbiBox or mabe your firewall.
Also you said it sometimes works and sometimes doesnt, so please test telnet a few times to not get a false positive (or whatever this case is called).

Argh .. this is what happens when you work in IT .. starting with the mos unlike thing which could be responsible ... actually I had disabled the API Server in Ambibox ... eh kloa ...

So - teh next issue - left and right I'm mssing 12 out of 48 LED ... Meaning that from the bottom to top the 12 first LED are dark.


Also - there is a ~ 3.5 sek (!) lag - when I use Ambibox with Windwos8 LiveMode ther is nearly no lag.
