Yes we are all in the same boat. TS is broken for ATSC. The Devs need logs! Go to this forum.

    http://mediaportal.elite-squad.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=40

    specifically this post: http://mediaportal.elite-squad.net/forum/showthread.php?t=475

    and follow these instructions: http://mediaportal.elite-squad.net/forum/announcement.php?f=40&a=14

If we get a few people to post this data, the devs will fix ATSC. They are more than capable, they just need logs!

    2. When running the configuration screen I get an error when trying to set up the analog card. I navigate to Television > Capture Cards
There are 2 items in the menu -
    ATI HDTV Wonder
    ATI HDTV Wonder (Analogue)
I select the Analogue and press 'edit' and then a popup window comes up and says "Unable to create graph for this device!!". I press ok and then it comes up again with the same popup. I press ok again and then the edit setting screen comes up. There is no autotune tab on this screen.

I just bought an ATI HDTV wonder card and am having the same problem with RC3.

latest code in cvs fixed time shifting - now EPG question

I did a private build and that version fixed timeshifting in HD for the ATI HDTV Wonder.

Also the scanning of digital TV is better - I picked up 2 of the 5 KQED stations. At the time I did the scan, these 2 may have been the only 2 broadcasting.... This station shows an HD and SD channel from 8pm-6am and then 4 SD channels from 6am-8pm

I haven't figured out how to get the program guide information imported correctly. Does anyone have success with this for ATSC channels? I set up XMLTV and this downloads all the station information to tvguide.xml. However, when I go to the channel list there is both the scanned channels and the xmltv channels. When I try to view the xmltv channels, they do not tune. Am I on the right track? Is XMLTV the way to go or is there a better alternative for over the air ATSC?

    Thanks!

Dave you need to go into the channel setup and use the combine button. COmbine the xmlTV channels with the ones that tune, and you will be all set.

If you've got TS working, we REALLY need to get you into the dev group...

Thanks Jim! I've uploaded your output to the Mantis bugtracker so hopefully Dman and Frodo can take a look at it.

Again, wonderificdave, if you can make contanct with Dman or Frodo or any of us on IRC that would be fantastic.

Check the 3-27-2006 CVS, I've got TS working somewhat, but changing the channel causes MP to crash.

    Hi,

I will try and contact DMan or Frodo on IRC. Usually they are asleep when I'm awake and vice-versa. Just to clarify, I didn't fix timeshifting... I just got the latest from CVS. I'm working on fixing the channel scanning for channel 9 KQED. I've made some progress there, but I would like to check with the developers to see if where I am making this fix is the correct location.

Thanks for the info about combining channels. I will try that tonight. The last time I configured XMLTV for media portal, it didn't seem to work well in the configuration screen. I would choose na_dd and then it would try and grab channels for australia and europe too. Does anyone else have this problem?

    Thanks!

Timeshifting working for my HDTV Wonder with latest build

I just tried timeshifting with the CVS 3-29-2006 / 1:01 build, and timeshifting and TV record functions work with my HDTV Wonder. However there is about a four-second delay when changing channels with timeshifting on.
