Can you help with a sound issue?

I have an ATI HDTV Wonder.

I've got all the channels set up, and for some reason, 2 of them only get about 1 second of sound, and then it stops. The other channels work fine. (Channel 7 and 18 in Austin, Texas)

I am using SPIDF passthrough to an external receiver. The signals that drop are DD 2.0, but other channels work fine with DD 2.0.

When the programming changed on channel 7 and went to a DD 5.1 signal, it started working fine.

If I record the channels with no sound, playing back that recording also has no sound. Recordings of channels on which the sound works playback fine. This leads me to believe it is a problem with MP.

I have tried every audio decoder available to choose from in the MP setup and have used Graphedit to verify that the decoder was in fact changing.

Any suggestions? I even tried the previous version of MP and have the exact same problem on the same 2 channels.

I downloaded RC3 and installed with new version of Dvico drivers (did not remove the application. I'm using the Fusion 5 USB ATSC - it autotunes the channels in properly. When I go to live TV, nothing happens.

1. Do I have to uninstall the dvico application?
2. Do I have to setup the guide for live tv to work?

Could you please post your Mediaportal.log file here: http://mp.pastebin.com/

    And link it?

I'm having some issues with audio as well. I think it is related tot he way MP handles AC3 streams. Could you please try to tune some channels and then zip up your log file directory and upload it to this thread: http://mediaportal.elite-squad.net/forum/showthread.php?t=506

    Dvico USB w/SVN build

No luck on the latest ATSC fixes on the SVN build. I pasted my log in the mp.pastebin

Live TV freezes after about 2-4 seconds.

Also, i have about 15 different entries for Video Decoders.

    Zulu HDTV (BDA)
    Dvico HDTV (BDA)
Zulu DXVA HDTV (BDA) ....etc, etc.

I've tried them all with similar results.

Also, how do i turn off timeshifting

I tested a private build this morning. I don't think the current SVN Build has the fixes. At 12AM tonight it should.

You turn off time shifting in the MyTV preview screen. It will have a orange light/button enabled when it is on.

    Also turn off EPG grabbing.

I'm also posting a link to your pastebin: http://mp.pastebin.com/644425

When you say you have a ton of decoders are you referring to options under Capture Cards? Or just video decoders. You should really only have 1 option under capture cards to choose from.

Yes, I've got the timeshifting turned off - confirmed on that.
I have yet to set up epg grabbing - xmltv is not installed.

Yes, I am referring to video decoders - I have several options - They all start with Zulu or Dvico.

According to your log, I suspect that this EPG option is checked:
