Here's a new MediaPortal Audio Renderer which contains few improvements when compared to the MediaPortal 1.3.0 release.

    Mantis issues:
    http://mantis.team-mediaportal.com/view.php?id=4201
    http://mantis.team-mediaportal.com/view.php?id=4205
    http://mantis.team-mediaportal.com/view.php?id=4184

    Improvements:
    • Fixed lost audio in DVD menus / movie (MS DVD navigator is not allowing big buffers on downstream)
    • A/V sync getting lost when clocks aren't in sync
    • A/V sync getting lost after resuming from paused state
    • Switching between audio streams
    • Dropped Frames on some systems
    • User configurable output buffer duration
    • Faster tv channel change times
    • Faster audio stream change times
    • Improved audio quality when using time strecthing
    What to test?

Daily use cases (live tv, DVD, Blu-ray, movies, online videos). If there are issues, please first compare to the 1.3.0 RC and https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...e-hardware-reference-clock-generation.116927/ versions to see if it is a regression or something new.

    What MediaPortal version to use?

Following MediaPortal versions can be used for the testing:
    1. https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...-changes-for-next-mediaportal-release.116508/ - which requires regression test on non-MPAR related things
    2. MediaPortal 1.3.0 final
    How to install?

    1. Stop Mediaportal
    2. make backup of the mpaudiorenderer.ax in MediaPortal installation directory
    3. copy new mpaudiorenderer.ax over the old one in in MediaPortal installation directory

Version number in the audiorenderer.log should be 1.1.2

if google did everything correctly translated means what it says in the WIKI, me the Media portal audio renderer does not benefit from my Configuration.

    correctly ?

If you need bit streaming then you cannot use MediaPortal Audio Renderer.

New audio renderer version (1.1.3) in the 2nd post in this thread. It should fix the "not enough data" messages that have been visible in some logs. Those could have generated in some rare cases A/V sync issues.

Please test - if no issues are found compared to the 1.3.0 final version of MPAR this filter version will go into the next release (and maybe some new features like volume control if you guys test enough :))

Maybe a stupid question, but I could already control the volume with mpaudiorenderer since I started using it with mediaportal 1.30 alpha.

    What will be different?
