No, still working on a way to get the LG services listet with an UPnP SSDP request, but the last days I was not able to do much, because it was too hot in my PC room under the Roof (33°C). Maybe anyone in the forum has some knowledge with LG TVs "netrcu" Service? It's not easy writing software for a device without access to it. This make things complicated, but I'm sure the LG Support will finally succeed. :)

@wouter1971: The problem is, that in your screenshot I can see only the UPnP services, but LG has implemented an extension of the UPnP protocol they call UDAP procotol. The commands for remote control of the TV are part of that UDAP protocol. Therefore the normal Intel UPnP tools do not recognize these services.

Really a great idea from LG to extend an existing standard in a way that makes it incompatible to the existing implementations. :(

Does the following line work with your TV?

    Hi Marcus,

Finally had the chance to try the changes you implemented in your plug-in since having upgraded to 1.4. Everything works fine, even in the main interface! The only feature which i'd like to ask if it can be introduced, is the possibility to switch off the auto-revert to 2D which seems now the behaviour after a 3D movie has finished showing. So basically, if a set the interface to SBS, it all works fine, until any movie I had been playing ends, then it all automatically reverts to 2D, forcing me to manually re-switch to 3D-SBS. Does this explanation make sense to you? If there is indeed such behaviour coded in the plug-in, I was wondering if it could be possible to expose it through an extra option that can be activated or de-activated through the configuration screen.

Thank you again very much for all your efforts and the great result!!!

Bert, i guess you have " Dynamic Refresh Rate" turned on, is that correct? That resets the TV mode.
