Ok have used this dll and seemed to have better results on artists but still not getting some eg.
Booker T. and the MG's Booker T. & the MG's is fine
Cliff Bennett and the Rebel Rousers, similar result
Cliff Richard and the Shadows, similar result

Could you try the attached DEBUG version (won't make any difference it will just log more details)

In the DEBUG version have 2 files , wher to put the "MusicInfoHandler.PDB" file ? same place as the dll file ?

Yeah the second file should not really matter but you can put it in the same place.

Hi, do with the last version "DEBUG" , we will still get the missig artists / album list ?
i run this version for 2 hour , no missing artists / album list log ,
and as i said ,from abut 2~3 version ago seams the scraper slower ....

no error log , only sometime the web time out .



Edit: on frash new install of MP 1.2.0 RC, (new MusicDB-old one delet).

Logs for the debug version included.

Did a complete new scan (deleted music DB). Ran over midnight so 2 mediaportal logs and artist/album logs.

Thanks. This version will be slower but no idea why that slow (possibly an issue with internet connections or allmusic website). I will look through logs today.

Hi jameson_uk , got artist missing , after 8 hours ... still not yet finsh album ....
abut artist mach better from 183 artists on my DB not find 18 , still have in missing THE , & .but mach better ....

as for album don't know wheen finsh as i have mach more albums comper to artists , but for me more importent the artist
info then album info .....

* i will go to the web to see what still not meach in my tag .....layter in evneing ....

OK was a little fundamental issue in the code...

Two versions attached. One will create the missing artist / album lists, the standard one will not. I would be interested if the standard one is still really slow for you.

Hopefully this should actually address some of the missing artists / albums.
