Hi

I tried force_refresh_rate=yes and use_default_hz=no
Also tried using 12noon's dc.exe
Nothing happens at all.
With mediaportal.xml do i need a

around the autofreshratechanger entries?

You dont need to write that, because you can place it in the General section. this one is already there.

Placing it in the general section seems to have made some difference, I believe it is now trying to work.
I now get the error "Mediaportal has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" when I load a movie for the first time. Mediaportal keeps running and the movie still loads, There is no change in refresh rate. Mediaportal still works as per usual and when i quit I notice that the dialog box "Mediaportal has encountered a problem" is still there. If I close the diaglog box it closes mediaportal.

EDIT: Problem was i was replacing the existing mediainfo.dll in \plugins\windows instead of putting your version in the root directory.
EDIT2:To get it to work I also had to use 12noon rather than CCC

Thanks for your help.

Hmmmm.. These problems could have something to do with version number differences.
I strongly suggest you upgrade to MP 1.02. In this version the automatic refreshrate changer is already build in and functioning. This will probably make life a little easier for you.

Can't use MP1.0.2 bc it makes 1080i LiveTV stutter even on a reformat of xp.
These are the settings that finally got things working for me

Might have found another bug (this one is more serious than not deconstructing the graph....any ideas on that one?) :

If you start playback of an album (a couple of mp3's in a folder) MediaPortal will hang when the last song ends.

Here is my log.

The only thing I've done is to start MediaPortal and played through a couple of song. When the last one ended so did MediaPortal (crashed).

Im using MediaPortal 1.0.2 with the latest Automatic Refresh Changer patch from this thread.

Without the latest patch (clean MediaPortal 1.0.2) everything is fine...

Any ideas on this one?
Basicly it makes the new path unusable.

Hi,

thanks for the quick reply. I know how it is set up, I know not only which of the files I download for 1:02, because there are numerous versions. So 01 or 03, oder061 etc. The information would be great.
Thank you very affectionate greetings
Dirk

You do not need to download anything... its already build in MediaPortal 1.02.

@Gibman.
Can I suggest you remove the attached files in the opening post. It can be percieved as missleading.
