All of my options are greyed out, why might this be happening? It is just stuck on cinema.

Same here. Would like to get this working.

I'll admit, I haven't searched through 74 pages of this thread, so apologies if this has already been addressed! :sorry:

Can you make a screenshot of what you see?
Also, are the specs in your system info still up to date?

I got one question, I can now select ntsc settings after I changed the font size. However, when I enter mediaportal and exit, it seems to go back to cinema...

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

have you enabled "use default refreshrate" with "cinema_hz", "ntsc_hz" or "pal_hz"?

    Hello,

I've a big problem using Dynamic Refresh Rate.
I have the same settings you can see in the screenshot from lloydsmart.
    My default rate is 50Hz.
If I try to play a H.264 HD-File the rate is switching to 24Hz and everything is ok.
But if I try to play a DVD-Iso it gets mounted and then I have a bluescreen and Windows restarts.
With deactivated DRR the DVD plays fine.

    Can someone help?

    Regards,
    Sphinx

    Oe.. that sounds serious.
About blue screens. Blue screans are not caused by Mediaportal. Blue screen is a most often caused by a faulty or not correct installed driver of some sort. These drivers dictates how and what comunicates with the hardware. If something is wrong here it can cause the blue screens. Mediaportal is just a trigger to reveal a problem. So intheory you should be able to reproduce the error outside mediaportal. You just need to create the same surcomstances.

My first aim would be to reinstall drivers. ATI/NVidia, mainbord drivers sound etc... all critical stuff. If this doesnt help, a fresh OS install would be my next step... sorry.. a lot of work it is to correct this issue.

But besides the blue screen. Inside windows you can set the default fontsize. You probably set it to "large" because of your large screen. But this is what makes the text too big in the menu of mediaportal. If you set it to normal again, you can see all the menu items you should be seeing in Dynamic Refreshrate ...
