The plugin uses longitude / latitude for calculating day/night icons, not the timezone.

@Goodmane1980 Exit MP, delete the contents of the folder C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache (on a default installation on Win 7), restart.

Thanks, again. Just to confirm it worked Here is the image again if anyone's interested; it just copy-pastes into the skin / media folder. I didn't see the attachment options last time so no need to go off-site now.

attached are modified files to show the weather on BasicHome and header by using the WorldWeather plugin.

Files for the plugin itself will be available later...

Thanks for this, just to clarify for others that use the classic home (like myself) that this also updates the 5day weather on there too.


Looking forward to the plugin to be skinned too!

Besides the skin files in place and clearing the cache, is anything else needed to get this too work, as mine is blank, and of course the worldweather plugin

Try using the Lat/Long to one decimal place. I have just got the weather and sunrise/sunset times right and I am just over the hill in Sheff.

My config is City, Sheffield, UK Lat, -1.5 Long, 53.4

I just tried it out and works alright. Are you sure you did replace the skin files? And sure about deleting cache?

Hi,

Definitely a bit quirky this plugin. I have just gone back to 2 decimal places and checked with both Avalon & Default Wide and neither showed. 1 decimal place and it works in both. It might be worth trying the settings above to see if it system specific?

Can someone give me a pointer about why im having problems downloading the latest 0.9.7 patch?

I was using v0.9.6, but when i tried updating to 0.9.7 it reverted me back even further to 0.9.5.431?!
