Iv sent the filter monikers

I have the same problem. So I followed the link last night and sent all the information to: mailto:dman_lfc@hotmail.com

Now I am hoping fore some help.

And by the way the card is functioning very well as analogue - but not in MP. It will not start the software at all - just runs se start up sequence and disappears! Both when I am using the old and new versions of the MP software.

Any one knows what is wrong?

We don't support the software encoding of hybrid cards as it just leaves users dissapointed.
If the generic software engine works then great if not then there is not alot we can do at this stage unless we get more TV developers.

The DVB function should work just fine.
If you're looking for a hybrid card which has analogue support then the Hauppauge HVR-1300 is the way to go due to its hardware encoding chip on the board.

So Dman you're saying that the digital tuner should work with mediaPortal, is that correct?
That's all I need really, cos I can get all channels with freeview, which is digital, right?
If you can confirm this I'll proceed with the purchase of the Avermedia card.

Yes I just got confirmation the cardbus version works with DVB-T.
So either grab CVS or use 0.1.3.0 and the updated file link from 15-October-2005 news release.

I have version 0.2 RC1 installed on my laptop. Do I need to revert to v. 0.3 or can I keep my installed version?

The only changes I see are: Updated Marcel Groothuis version of the plugin to now support Media Portal 2.5 I can't say anything about the functionality of this plugin, I don't use TV Part, but if there are any changes that can be simply transferred, then I can try. But I can't give any guarantees.
