Probably you antivirus quarantized it. That was a known issue with Chrome half a year ago. False positive in some scanners. Check logs of your virus scanner. No MP bug.
I should have been more clear. This was directly after a 1.3.0a fresh install upgrading from 1.2.3. No browser was involved except for downloading the 1.3.0a package, and I run no anti-virus software.
It's no bug in MP or everyone would have this. I cannot reproduce it. But still willing to help of course. If it turns out it is a bug I stay corrected. So please don't feel offended.
When upgrading from 1.2.3 did you have LAV installed before manually? Maybe there is a conflict of version in regards to LAV. Is the DLL anywhere on your system?
Yes, I did have LAV installed at one time. I uninstalled several plugins and skins before the 1.3.0a install, but I can't remember if I uninstalled LAV. The install did install LAV as well.
Yes, LAV comes with 1.3.0. We probably should add a check if LAV is already installed and recommend removal before proceeding. Discuss this with the team.
FYI. I had further trouble. Known good mkv file would not play with any codecs, including LAV. So I uninstalled LAV and reinstalled. Now the config buttons work and the mkv file plays with LAV codecs. Perhaps some oddity with my 1.2.3 installation -- it has had a workout by an amateur in the time I've had it installed -- but it was working well at the time.

I picked the latest, largest and Cumulative ones and everything burst into action enough to re-install MediaPortal 1.33 which is running very well. I let...

Due to the recent update in FanartHandler and using dynamic paths for the ClearArt, ClearLogo and CDArt this is resolved without the need to update MovingPictures Cornerstone.MP.Extensions as FH no longer uses #selecteditem and instead uses #MovingPictures.SelectedMovie.title.
At the moment MePo theme has these values but I plan to...
