RADPI,
I believe the issue is that the TV server program folder was not defined. I believe it should be C:\Archivos de programa\TeamMediaPortal\MediaPortal Tv Server. In this folder you should find TvService.exe. So your complete path setting should be:

MediaPortal Program Folder (Base): C:\Archivos de programa\TeamMediaPortal\MediaPortal
MediaPortal User Folder (Config): C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Datos de programa\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal
TV Server Program Folder (Base): C:\Archivos de programa\TeamMediaPortal\MediaPortal Tv Server
TV Server User Folder (Config): C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Datos de programa\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server

Just learned my first Spanish words:).

Before you try this i would like to ask you to help me with an English translation of your complete exception message "No se pudo econtrar el archivo .....

When you start backupSettings for the first time you will be asked by the program again for those directories

Hi Huha:

In the installation that I am trying this, I do not have the TVServer installed, because of this isn't completing the TVServer Program Folder, like I saw in Vista that this works.

No se pudo econtrar el archivo ..... is equal to : "Can't find the file..."

:D

    Buenas.

I more or less the same problems as RADPi. Also with XP in Spanish but TVServer installed but when trying to install the plugin can not find the directories MediaPortal (even manually).

    Thanks.

    Apologies also for my English.

    Hola Manuelito:

    Saludos

    RADPi, animale81, Manuelito,
please try the attached test version 1.0.3.2 and post if it fixed your issue.

I figured out that in MP 1.1beta the registry entry with the MP configuration paths has been removed. I used this entry for autodetection in 1.0.1. I found another way around and i am eager to see if this recognizes now the Spanish path names (I cannot debug).

animale81, just editing the .xml file as I described in the last post will not help. Please try this version and let me know the result. I was not able to create a configuration which did not start with cardid 1.

Thanks to all of you for your postings!

    Edit 23:10
I updated again the mpi file for animale81.

Edit: I removed the mpi test file - no more needed

    RADPI,
    Animale81,
from your posting i saw that the definition of hybrid cards is resulting in a numbering of TV cards not starting with 1. I believe this is causing the issue. Please try to label the TV cards in Tvsettings.xml from 1 to 6 and try again. I will address this issue in my next version.

I' have tried but nothing... same error...Could i extract just the channel and the group from the backup database?

RADPi, Manuelito, thanks for your help in fixing this.

Animale81, with the latest version there is no more a need for renumbering cardIDs in the xml file.
The dateTime Exception message really surprised me as i could not find any issue in my code. Can you post me from the Tvsettings.xml the line with
    <channel Name="DW01"
I am especially interested in the attribute values for LastGrabTime and TotalTimeWatched

Animale81, after posting the data for channel name please try the attached mpi file. You should get tons of error messages on date time conversion, schedules, programs and recordings, but no exception message. Please let me know.

Update: If this works out please export the data with the new .mpi version into a new folder and import those data again. This import should work without any errors. can you confirm?
