ok... i'm getting a lot of error with the new mpi.... attach here you find the error i'm getting and a parts of tvsetting.xml where you see the DW01

animale81, great! All your settings besides schedules and recordings should have been imported. Please export your settings again and let me know the setting of channel DW01 again. Does the attribute change from LastGrabTime="2000-01-01 00.00.00" to LastGrabTime="2000-01-01 00:00:00" ? If you reimport this file you should not get any errors.

If you had many schedules which did not get imported from your old file you could try to replace all "." by ":" in tvsettings.xml and reimport again. The recordings can be easily restored in the TVserver configuration in the section recording->database import.

Version 1.0.4.0 released

I have released Version 1.0.4.0 mainly for fixing the issues described in the last posts.

Special thanks to RADPI, Manuelito and animale81 for helping in debugging. So I hope this closes the issues with the different culture zones for different date time formats and language specific names of the installation paths.

The MPEI installer will now unzip the files in the Config folder (e.g. C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Installer\BackupSettings. If you have a Tv server only installation you can copy this folder to your server computer and run install.exe. In the Installer folder you will also find a copy of your .mpi files when you download it from the online list.

Update: Before you use this version for import you must create a backup first as the data formats are not compatible to older versions for schedules and recordings.

Hi Helios, i was thinking about that already. So far I have not found a good idea about estimating the time for the first time use, but this is on my list for the next version.

For all users: Before you import with the 1.0.4.0 version you must create a backup first as the data format is not compatible to older versions!

With my poor experience with BS in Client mode,I have thought is normal that it ask me for MediaPortal Configuration Folder when I try to open BS from MediaPortal Configuration Plugins Panel in the first time. But, every time that I open it, it ask it again, how I showed.

I have released version 1.0.4.2 with the following changes:
- compatible to latest SVN (tested with 24047) fixing crash during data import
- improving card detection algorithm for changed plug positions
- added progress bar for import/export
- code cleanup of import/export subroutine
- updated MP client version with improved installation routine (thanks a lot Radpi)
