Thor, please post the detailed path of the last copy message in the BackupSettings installer window e.g.
BackupSettings.pdf copied to C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\BackupSettings\BackupSettings.pdf.
Do you see a TV server plugin in C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\plugins\BackupSettingsTV.dll?
I have released the next version with the following updates:
– fixed bug in Installer for unistalling the TV server plugin
– added Win7 64 bit support for autodetection of Program Files (x86)
I got my first 64 bit version installed (Windows 7) and tested the plugin
So i have done testing now on xp SP3 32 bit, Vista SP2 32 bit and Win7 64bit
– colored text in status window for warnings and errors
error messages are done in red and warnings in orange/yellow
– MediaPortal Plugin directory search for the MediaPortal plugin
i found an issue thanks to Rijnton´s posting
– supported new dll files from SVN1.0.4.24281 for recording and program structure
there was a .dll file change in one of the latest SVNs which broke the plugin. SVN1.0.4.24281 was used for testing the plugin. Please note that some older SVNs may not work due to changes in the recording and program structure.
I has maked a fresh installation of my MP.
After installed MediaPortal_1.1_Beta1_rev23491, I installed mediaportal-svn-01-08-2010--02-15-Rev24669, after that I tried to install BackupSettingsV1.0.4.3`, and it showed me these errors:
Message 1:

I'm currently running v 1.0.2 of MP and want to upgrade to 1.1 Beta, will this plugin in enable me to backup all my settings and then load them again into the new 1.1 MP?
I use Moving Pictures, MP-TV Series and For The Record (4TR), will I get all my data for these back again?
Hi RADPI,
this smells to me like a SVN change in the mpi installer. I will look at that next week end. If you need it urgent you can do a manual install without the MPI installer.
Download the zip file at the begin of this posting and go to the release directory after unzipping the file. Start install.exe.
Thanks for posting.
Hi Biffa001,
unfortunately i cannot give you a firm answer as i am not using those plugins. Backupsettings will just copy all the .xml files and databases of MediaPortal Plugins. Between 1.0.2 and 1.1 there were some major changes and some of the plugins/databases from 1.0.2 do not work in 1.1. So i would try to make a complete backup of your system e.g. by an image of your full c drive first and then give a try. Maybe some users did this already and can post their experience.
