The new version contains a serious bugfix for the progressbar in specific configurations.
The detailed changes are described below
Version 1.0.4.4
– fixed bug in progress bar causing exception and avoided restart of TV server configuration
– added support for TvWishList plugin
– changed directory from TV_PROGRAM to TV_USER for EmailScheduler plugin
– added IPTV channels for import from mvedrina patch
I am planning another update after MP1.1 has been released, as some minor new settings in the Tv server configuration are not implemented yet (e.g. Powerscheduler network monitor).
hey fellows,
this is the most helpful optional gadget in mediaportal - but
i have troubles with proper restore
changed my system from win7x64r2 to win7x64ultimate
i replaced the tv card drivers with newest version - but after backup no channels were accesible or searchable...
switching back to old drivers (the ones that it was backup with) all is fine
second same is with the soundgraph imon usb display (and there i cant go back to old drivers for some reason)...
the display works with the imon software but is not so by media portal...
whatever
anyone seeing this also after switching drivers or w7 r2 to w7 full version?
best
alwin
amarzahn,
I am afraid I cannot help here. I had no issues when switching from Vista 32bit to w7 64 bit.
You could try a manual card scan and then use the TV server options just to import your general settings, groups and your plugin settings.
Then you have to redo just the schedules again.
For all, i will be out this week and follow up on the forum next week
Hi,
i will be thinking about this, but currently there is a lot of work first to be done with my other plugins.
You can use the Backupsettings scripting (check page 13 in the manual ) for this task, too.
There is an example in the manual which you can copy and customize for your directories.
Just modify the two lines to
SET MYSOURCE=C:\ProgramData\IR Server Suite
SET MYDESTINATION=%BACKUPFOLDER%\IR Server Suite
If you have to stop IRSS-Server and Translator during manual operation, this will need to be done in the script, too.
I have a problem where the contents of the database folder and thumbs folder are not being exported.
I previously had the database in a shared folder, but now gone back to the original way.
OK, I have fixed, I restored the wrong MediaPortalDirs.xml file. All is well now, thanks.
I'm using BackupSettings V1.0.4.4 to migrate from MP 1.0.2 to MP 1.1.0 RC1 and found two issues:
- Installing through MPEI does not work ('wrong version'), manual install works fine.
- More problematic; coverart restore for MovingPictures did not work, is there a fix?
