Did some testing, and it seems that it has to be
#itemXlabel:ID

Meaning that you would have to have a ID and not a typed name.


There are two ways of working around this, as I see it:
1. Create ID's in language xml's (haven't tested yet, but will do. I do not see any reason why it should not work)
2. Search and replace all #itemXlabel with your preferred label.

Hi guys, I'm trying to make a seven tab version of this.
I've taken all I could find about showtimes out but now I'm left with an empty tab that I cannot navigate past.
Is there something I forgot? Maybe a value containing the number of tabs?

FYI, changing encoding from UTF to "windows-1252" worked just fine for me. Easy as pie. Whatever that means.

You can't just remove the 8. tab, as the other 7. still would have the same position.

I'd recommend that you just find a 8. plugin that you are OK with having @ BHS. Or you can have one of them displayed twice, like #2 and #6

Hi, and - Great mod. Have been waiting for something like that for a long time...

I am using the 6 tabs mod and I want to replace the Settings menu item with My Videos. Which strings should I replace in the file?

I did a version for my own use that has the menu in the bottom of the screen.
Maybe this is of use to someone, so here it is.

Hi Guys,

i just installed the 8-Pieces Mod and like it very much.
However i dont use showtime and would like to replace it with mytrailers.

Can someone please point the way? XML is jibberish for me

And one other thing, in the XML-File there are folders for the backdrops labeld (for example) tv. I cant find any folder Named TV. Where can i find these folders?

im sorry but i cant find a reply in your name on the link you provided.


what i did till now: Replaced all "showtimes" through "Trailers" in the xml-file. I guess the only thing missing is to tell MP that it should open the mytrailers.xml when i click on trailers in the homescreen.

My Mytrailers.xml has id 5900 so where do i have to put that in the basichome.xml?
