    Hello hwahrmann,

    Thanks for your reply.

    Visualisation was turned off already.
I turned it on and off again to make sure that there is no error in my configuration files but it made no difference. I also tried it with an mp3 file but also in this case the speed is too high.

All my music is in WMA lossless format, should this work within BASS?

In the attached log file I played an mp3 file with visualisation turned off.

    Regards,
    Jan

Sure WMA should work as well, but i saw in your log that the Tagreader had problems getting some tags and i wanted to make sure that it was not a wma file causing the issue.

I've seen the problem that you described only with Visualisation turned on.

can you PM me a mail address?
I'll send you a small sample program to try.

Also for me the problem is the same.
When I select the ASIO option within the BASS system the playback is very very fast.
I have a Creative Audigy 2 card, and all is ok with asio foobar or asio winamp.
    I play mp3 files.

hwahrmann, I've tried the utility you sent me.
The mp3 files are played perfectly, whichever channels (2,4,6,8,20) I choose.
In the Mediaportal setup are shown 20 channels.
With the latest svn if I choose asio I can't hear sound, and the log gives me an error.
Tell me what else I can do

We made a change yesterday, which caused ASIO to stop working.
please try with the next public svn build, which is generated tonight.
Most probably it'll work as the code in MP and in the test program i've sent you are identical.

    Hi Helmut,

I tried the sample program you sent me and it works via the analog output but from the digital output I still get no sound. The digital output works when I start MediaPortal in which I turned ASIO off for the moment.

Once the new svn build is available I will try this as well (I assume the latest changes are not included in build 12716).

If there is something else I can do to track this problem please let me know.

    Regards,
    Jan
