best power supply (2 Viewers)

Can anybody recommend the best power supply for around £60 I need around 600W and as quiet as possible. What are you using?

I'm using an Etasis ET750 in a 9 drive RAID server and it's running fine where others have failed (drives briefly dropping out etc.) I read a couple of reviews similar to this

before purchasing. I think it's very quiet but that of course is subjective. Read the review

I know that's overspecified for your needs, but they also do a ET650 (650W), I expect it's of a similar quality and only slightly over your budget if you shop around. Sorry but I can't find a review.

Do you really need 600W? There is a bit of a misconception on how much power a PC needs - people tend to buy PSUs with way more power than needed.

What sort of setup will you be powering?

I've got Seasonic in my Server and my desktop. They are both very quiet. Corsair are also quiet.

What sort of setup will you be powering?

running a quad core cpu intel 8500gt graphics card, 2 sata 1tb harddrives, DVD RW drive, blueray drive, tv card, soundcard. if i start to play games more i may get a second graphics card.

i am not totally sure on whaw power i need
