Hi

I have somes issues @ the end of movie, it's like it didn't stop it, so i can see latest frame on screen and MP get stuck :

I have try with 1.3.0Alpha and also on 1.2.2.
I have recompil the plugin against 1.3.0Alpha bin (core / dialog etc.) and i have the same.
LAV Splitter / LAV Video/Audio was in use.

Hiya,

i've just installed the plugin and it doesn't seem to be working.

I'm trying to play MKV's with 3D in them by the way of MVC made using MakeMKV.

They play fine in steroscopic player but the plugin doesn't seem to be loading.

Can anyone help?

Same problem over here. Mepo 1.2.3.0 stereoskopic player and plugin are installed. I can make the settings in the MePo-configuration an it safes fine, but when I start MePo an and want to enable 3D-view during video it doesn't show up. No notifciation and no quick menu. In the stereoskopic player it worked just fine.
I've got Win7 (64) and the localisation is german.

So, I did some further investigations and found out, that mp3d works fine when I started it by the configuration menu.
But the quick menu and the and the shortcuts don't work. Could Streamed MP (the skin) be a problem? Is mp3d defined for it?

Is anyone having good success with Anaglyph glasses. A while back I posted that I had ordered some amber blue glasses from Amazon:

They are copies of the color code system. I was assuming, based on what I have read about the color code system that this would give the best experience. However, I am getting a lost of ghosting. I suspect that the lenses are not quite right. However, the official colour code glasses cost a fortune.

Has anyone had success with either the red/cyan or the green/magenta. If so could you let me know the glasses that you have purchased?

Just ordered another pair of cheap glasses to try, but can anybody confirm whether the patented Colorcode 3D glasses would work inside MP or would their specific player be required to get the best performance?

Hi all,

I haven't reported back on my findings because I did a clean install a while back and haven't installed MP3D plugin yet as I haven't needed to watch a 3D film for a while.

I also purchased some cheap colourcode glasses as I mentioned above. However, I have come to realize that there is a huge difference in quality between cheap and expensive anaglyph glasses. Just look at the variation in cyan - red glasses that there are on the internet.

For this reason I didn't have much success with the amber - blue but I suspect this was down to the glasses. The only way you will really know if the colour code system works is to buy some high quality official color code glasses and try those with mediaportal.

That was why I abandoned the CC system since the whole anaglyph approach is meant to be affordable!!!!

I recommend the Pro-ana cyan-red glasses that I got from the link above. They work great.

As long as no special hardware is required for your choise of anaglyph, ie NVIDIA, no special player is required!

@erichzann
Did you try the cheap ones with 3dtv.at player at full-screen with proper TV aspect ratio? Did you play with the parallax values? Did you use stereoscopic video or just plain anaglyph video?
If all those did not work with 3dtv.at player, then yes the cheap glasses you have are no good. Otherwise, just replicate all those settings within MP3D and you'll watch 3d just fine!

Hallo, I need help with mp3d. Mp3d is installed, but during playback I can't start it ( default button 3 ). I tried also uninstall this plug and install again, but what is strange is, that after new install configuration remember my last modifications. What can I do to clean up complet plug from the system befor new install ?

There is an MP3D.xml file in your c:\programdata\team mediaportal\mediaportal folder. Delete that for clean install.

As far as the actual issue, did you install the 3dtv.at stereoscopic player? Can you try using a different rederer codec?
